New Respect for the Son of God? I was surprised to hear this actually happened. Do we have Mel Gibson to thank?

Janet Jackson Appears on Letterman
To quote: Unlike the last time she appeared on CBS, Janet Jackson was bleeped by censors Monday while talking to David Letterman -- for saying "Jesus."

Radio Revolution: I'm a subscriber to
XM Satellite Radio and I must say I like the service. It's a potential radio revolution as anything broadcast via satellite is an instant national broadcast. I still listen to local radio but nothing compares to listening to the same channel for 3 hours straight on a road trip. Plus local just doesn't have anything interesting on sometimes versus the 100 or so satellite channels.
I'm expecting this new broadcast outlet to continue to catch on. Your local radio station should be looking over its shoulder. Especially if they offer nothing but the ubiquitous, vomit-inducing "best mix of the hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s!"

Bye-bye Super Size: McDonald's is phasing out its "super size" meal options. Ding dang, that's another great cartoon subject going down the tubes. I hope this trend does not catch on.

Don't laugh, it could be you. It could be me, too. But I can't resist a good knock on the cel phone culture (or lack thereof) we've developed here in the United States.
