Secrets of Word-of-Mouth Marketing Revealed

  1. Make something that doesn't suck.
  2. Make something not suck so much that people* will talk about it.
  3. Hire competent marketers to help you get your message out.
As you may have noticed, most companies just make something and skip to Step 3.

A Green Idea That Works

I just completed a trip to Publix, a local grocery store, and picked up two reusable grocery bags at $1 each. No paper or plastic this time. Instead I actually paid money to save a tiny weenie, itsy bitsy part of the environment. (And the grocery saved a few pennies not giving me an old, one use bag.)

No treaties, no regulations, no new taxes, no carbon offsets to buy. Ain't it sweet when capitalism and environmentalism work together?
